Why election candidates should blog
It is an inexpensive way to promote candidacy. The cost of paid domains are far less than the cost of tv and radio ads. Candidates can even opt for free blogs at wordpress, blogger or funchain.
It is one of the best ways of stating political plans and platforms. Voters want to know the platforms of election candidates but the cost of discussing lengthy platforms via political ads is prohibitive. Blogging is a good and inexpensiveway of informing the public of political plans and platforms in detail.
Blogs are readily available. If the public needs to know the candidate’s profile or background, they can easily get the information via the candidate’s blog or website. Through blogs, candidates will be able to persuade voters to vote for them because they have excellent record in public service or have drafted good legislations.
