Philippine election 2007 seems to be the dirtiest election I have ever seen since I started voting. Numerous election- related deaths and intimidation have been reported; the most unlikely people to be in government position filed their candidacies; questionable people are either running or endorsing candidates; and public officials blatantly violating election rules.

Some bad stories about certain candidates may start to proliferate by now. This is an effort to discourage voters to cast their votes on a certain candidate. Stories about a candidate’s homosexuality, corrupt practices, involvement with drugs and gambling syndicates will start to emerge.
