No final & approved list of senatoriables yet

I have posted about the “Final and complete list of senatorial candidates”but it seemed that the post is a blunder and needs to be updated. The Comelec said that it has not yet released a final list of qualified senatorial candidate. Here is an excerpt from the Inquirer:

“Comelec spokesman James Jimenez [also] denied that the Comelec had released a list which showed that the certificates of candidacies of 37 out of 80 senatorial aspirants had been approved and recommended for resolution by the Comelec en banc.

“That list is unsigned so there’s no basis [for the reports]. The list is just an announcement and not even a recommendation. The Comelec en banc has yet to come out with a resolution,” Jimenez said in a telephone interview.

Jimenez said that the Comelec en banc would issue a list of qualified and disqualified candidates in the form of resolution signed by all the commissioners.”
