Important: What not to do during election day

The following are prohibited acts on May 14, election day:

  • Campaigning
  • • Selling, offering, buying, serving or taking liquor
  • • Giving, accepting free transportation, food, drinks, things of value
  • • Soliciting votes or undertaking any propaganda for or against any candidate or any political party within the polling place or within 30 meters thereof
  • • Voting more than once or in substitution of another
  • • Holding of fairs, cockfights, boxing, horse races or similar sports
  • • Opening of booths or stalls for the sale of merchandise or refreshments within a 30-meter radius of the polling place
