How will Trillanes participate in legislative debates and discussions if he is behind bars?

The Philippines will have a senator who will serve his office behind bars.

Antonio Trillanes is set to be proclaimed as the Philippines’ 11th senator on Friday, according to the Comelec. Now the question, how will Trillanes participate in legislative debates and discussions if he is behind bars?

Option 1. A computer system will be installed in his cell. I was thinking that an internet connected PC, webcam, microphone and a yahoo messenger installed will do the job but the Philippines may be able to install a more efficient communication system for the senator-elect.

Option 2. Release Trillanes every session so he can personally participate in the discussions and debates.

  1. let him go. sa totoo lang talagang maraming
corrupt sa ating gobyerno. He is young and
educated and it will be a waste of money if
he will just sit in prison. Let’s try this
young fellow and get rid of those folks who
are just waiting for that so called “pork bar- rel” and those fat and arrogant personnel in
uniform..majority of the people have spoken
and they wanted Him—-SENATOR of the REPUBLIC
of the PHILIPPINES..Let HIM free so he can do
    his job…

  2. the filipino voters have spoken. they need people like trillanes, brave, honest, outspoken and not afraid to stand for his principles. it is only a few corrupted government officials who would love to see trillanes incarcerated and out of the limelight. why doesn’t the philippine government and its judicial system try these corrupt officials instead. set him free so that he will be able to perform his senatorial duties without restraint and limitations. give him the freedom to prove himself and show how a filipino senator is supposed to serve his country men.

  3. la lang

  4. I hope you people are right about Trillanes. I see Trillanes as a very dangerous man - somebody who thinks he is the country’s messiah. Basing on his initial pronouncements re:Zubiri, etc., i figure he is too combative to think with reason.
