Only a true leader of integrity will understand why the country must be build from within: its human resources; the people, their love of country and their dedication to the rule of law. A people well educated and imbued with their love of themselves as a people will, as a natural course, seek to enhance their own self, secure a good name for themselves and their country, and work to build the country’s national infrastructure. Rather than seek instant rewards that are distributed to selected beneficiaries…to those who pledge allegiance to an administration alleged to have been unconstitutional by contracting away the country’s public institutions and domain from the control of the Filipinos and hand them to foreign capitalists thereby depleting the nation’s legacy to its future generations and leaving them with nothing but getting them in bondage to foreign domination. The realization of self-reliance becomes a foreign dogma for a country whose people are raised to become slaves and dependent upon those few corrupt political leaders who connive with foreign powers to plunder the natural wealth of the country.
